The role of Tech Coordinator is primarily responsible for advancing the vision and mission of Libertyville Covenant Church through the technology used throughout the week and by overseeing the worship technical needs; including, but not limited to, leadership of volunteer technical teams for all Sunday morning services, maintaining YouTube site and streaming, set up slides, videos, and other technical aspects of the service and manage audio and other events requesting/requiring tech support

Run sound for services and events such as weddings, commencement, and concerts, included in-house and livestream mixing. Set up, tear down, and organize equipment while ensuring all equipment is in proper functioning order. Manage other event techs in specified services to complete set up in a timely manner

Produces weekly videos for summer camp, produces year end video for publicity, captures videos and pictures for publication. Participation in the general summer camping ministry. Able to fly camera drones and capture moments without being intrusive

Aggregates media from multiple sources combines and edits them into one continuous timeline, with seamless transitions and effects. Understands and uses Adobe Premiere Pro 2020. 15 hours per church service of editing.

Worked with Residential Life Staff to ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of students living in campus housing. Hosts programs and handles crisis situations that require leadership skills, quick thinking, and problem-solving.

Prepare, maintain, and operates sound equipment for events happening in the Chapel. Monitors a soundboard and adjust volume of faders as necessary, then mix and manipulate sound to complete the feel of the scene. Troubleshoots problems with sound equipment.

A work study position that helps maintain security in each residence hall, while communicating necessary information between and with all upper-level residence hall staff.

Trains new members on any of the 5 main front of house positions. Maintains a positive attitude and makes the trainee feel welcomed and valued. Demonstrates a positive role model for all crew members and delegates tasks when necessary. “An extension of the manager”
